Hi, I’m Jaylee Sanchez, the founder of Gigi’s Goods Bakery! Growing up I always dreamt of owning my own bakery. I remember drawing sketches of my logo, and watching Cake Boss before school hoping one day it’ll become a reality. After I graduated high school, I took a gap year to figure things out. While all my peers were away at college, I was back home working at a local coffee shop full time. I felt lost and confused, unsure with what I wanted to do with my life. Fast forward to the Summer of 2021, I started to bake again. It was on and off, but slowly my passion for baking was reignited. I immediately looked into Bakery positions available in Rhode Island, and put my two weeks in at the local coffee shop. I worked at a Bakery for over 2 years, gaining hands on experience in the Bakery Industry.

I’ve spent the past 3 years baking, creating delicious cakes/treats for so many special occasions. Doing what I love has been fulfilling in every way. It’s more than cake, it’s bringing people together, and I’m thankful to be a part of someone’s special day.
